DIVISION LEADERS: Division leaders act as a liaison between the head counselors and the division for which they are responsible. Division leaders in each division assist the head counselors with all activities, bunk issues and staff performance. The division leaders are fully involved in all aspects of their campers’ day, including meal supervision, bunk management and scheduling. They meet with the head counselors each day to exchange information and maintain an open line of communication with their counselors and campers.

CAMP COUNSELORS: In each bunk there are at least two counselors. Along with ensuring each child’s general welfare, counselors accompany their campers from activity to activity. Counselors must possess the following qualities: patience, compassion, fairness, great listening skills and most importantly, a sincere desire to work with children. We look for applicants who have experience working with children. All new applicants must be at least 19 years old or entering their sophomore year in college.

SPECIALISTS: Specialists are hired to teach a specific activity area at camp. Once the daily program begins, all of the specialists report to their specific area for the activity. Applicants must demonstrate a strong aptitude in their specialty area and must have experience teaching/coaching children. All new applicants must be at least 19 years old or entering their sophomore year in college.

We are currently hiring specialists in the following areas:

ATHLETICS: Candidates need to be proficient in several of the following sports: Softball, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Tennis, Street Hockey, Volleyball and Flag Football.

WATERFRONT: Swimming instructors and lifeguards (WSI Certified or the equivalent), Canoeing & Kayaking, Waterskiing and Boat Driving.

ARTS & CRAFTS: Ceramics, Models/Rocketry, General Arts and Crafts Assistants (must have strong artistic talent), Cooking, Scrap booking, Silk-Screening, Jewelry, Woodworking, Video and Digital Photography.

OUTDOOR SPECIALISTS: Archery, Adventure and Ropes Course (Zip-Line, Climbing Wall and Low & High Ropes), Dirt Bikes & ATV’s (Honda & Yamaha), Skateboarding, Go-Karts, Outdoor Adventure/Fishing and Fitness.

CREATIVE ARTS: Aerobics, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Dance, Piano & Drama.

SUPPORT STAFF: Maintenance, Office, Laundry, Driver, Housekeeping & Kitchen.
