Nature Den

In conjunction with Camp Saginaw’s Outdoor Adventure Program, the Nature Den is filled with critters and nature collections. Turtles, snakes and fish are just some of the animals the campers capture and take care of in the “Den”. Camp Saginaw’s commitment to environmental education starts with hands on activities that foster a relationship with the natural environment. Collecting snakes skins and local rocks and minerals to display in the Nature Den gives kids the opportunity to connect with the world they live in. The campers are encouraged to handle the animals and participate in their care.
