Group Activities

We offer a wide variety of fun and entertaining activities for your group.

Athletic Fields

Saginaw has extensive athletic facilities. These include: ten basketball courts, six baseball/softball fields, seven tennis courts, three soccer fields, five volleyball courts and four fully boarded and lined hockey courts for street and roller hockey. Several of our athletic facilities are covered and have lights. Further, we have four beautifully maintained 100 yard football fields for band or football camps.

Mini-golf

Saginaw boasts a challenging 9-hole mini-golf course.

Swimming in our pools

Saginaw has two beautiful pools, complete with two water slides. We have lounge chairs and a sound system at the pool, making this one of the places to be in camp.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Saginaw is bordered by Big Elk Creek. This body of water is where we offer canoeing and kayaking. We provide top notch certified instructors.

Climbing Wall

Saginaw has a 60 foot climbing wall with three sections (beginner, intermediate and advanced).

Adventure Course & Teambuilding

We teach teambuilding skills in our low and high ropes course. We offer over twenty elements, including but not limited to, the Giant’s Ladder, Tire Climbs, Three-Line Bridge, Trust Fall Platform, and a 12-foot Team Wall.

Go Karts

Come race around our black top track complete with twists and turns.

Archery

Archery is a classic overnight summer camp program. We teach archery skills by certified instructors.

Riflery/Pellet Guns

Campers are taught shooting skills by certified shooting instructors.

Laser Tag

Laser tag is a Saginaw favorite. The groups are split into two groups and play games such as Capture the Flag, Last One Standing and more – this is an action packed activity.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & crafts projects are designed to offer fun and enjoyable artistic programming. Our Arts & Crafts room is run by full time art instructors. Have your group display their creativity.

Rocketry

Group members build, paint and decorate a rocket as part of their event. The culmination of this event is launching the rockets on our fields.

Services

Camp Saginaw’s retreat center offers full complimentary business services, including printing, copying, faxing, and wireless internet service. Saginaw will also include presentation services, including but not limited to, projectors, white screens and audio & visual. If there is something that you need, just ask and we will make sure to have it for you.

We also offer camp vehicles for rent. These will allow for efficient transportation throughout camp.
